John Hayford Evangelistic Association

I came from Ghana to Canada in 1984 and attended a Bible College for four years. Shortly after my graduation I got married to a beautiful lady called Sandra (nee David) who also attended Northwest Bible College (now Vanguard College in Edmonton).

In 1988, both Sandra and I worked at the Marketplace Chapel in the West Edmonton Mall until 1992 when I left there to start the John Hayford Evangelistic Association, registered as a charitable ministry in Canada since 1993.

In August 1996, we also founded and pastored the King of Glory Christian Fellowship in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada (for 12 years); until October 2008 when we merged with the Marketplace Chapel. After 16 years away from the Chapel, the Lord has led us back there to win souls and disciple them for a greater harvest.

In 1998 the Lord showed me in a dream the whole continent of Africa and pointed to me Johannesburg as a starting point for Evangelism and Discipleship training for Pastors, church leaders and all Christians who want to be effective in their calling to ministry.

Some of the specific things the Lord showed me in the dream I discovered them later in South Africa.

In September 2007, 5,000 Bibles (English) were sent to some churches in Kampala, Uganda.

From 1998 - 2009, I have conducted Discipleship Seminars in the following 15 African countries:

Botswana, Burundi, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ghana, Kenya, Lesotho, Malawi, Namibia, Nigeria, Rwanda, South Africa, Swaziland, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.

I have also preached in churches and house meetings in England and Holland.

I went to distribute 640 JESUS DVDs to the people of Armenia on May 12-25, 2009. They gladly received them.

I have also given out JESUS films, videos, DVDs, Discipleship books, projectors and Bibles to several people in the countries I have visited. Evangelism through JESUS videos and DVDs are very effective tools for soul winning. They are shown every day in the school auditoriums, colleges, community halls and open public places in Africa.
